Wow, the colouring came out well in this!

What I can suggest to take it to the next level, is for you to start looking at textures and surfaces more... like the ribbon for instance could have a silky texture to it and the metal could be more shiney.

Well i have tried textures, in the HP picture i have canvas texture watercolors for the background. but i'm not so certain about the textures...

It's hard, but it can be done with something as simple as light and dark. For instance, satin. If you look at satin, the way the texture works is purely through dark and light areas, try keeping something near you when you draw or colour and try recreate the texture :D
